DESCRIPTION:Falschgeld sind jung\, aus München und machen dreckigen Indie-Pop-Rock mit deutschen Texten\, stilistisch irgendwo zwischen TonSteineScherben und den frühen Strokes\, Wanda und AnnenMayKantereit. \nNach ihrem aufsehenerregenden Debütalbum „Menschen wie wir“ (produziert von Franz Ferdinand Gitarrist Nick McCarthy) arbeitet die Band momentan mit Produzenten-Koryphäe Moses Schneider (AnnenMayKantereit\, Beatsteaks\, K.I.Z\, Tocotronic … ) an ihrem zweiten Longplayer „Flügge werden“\, welcher auch genau davon handelt: vom Erwachsenwerden in unruhigen Zeiten während die Welt scheinbar aus den Fugen gerät. Zeitgeist und Coming of age treffen auf angenehm ehrlichen Indie-Pop-Rock ohne Schnörkel aber dafür mit umso höherem Spassfaktor. \nHörprobe: Schüttet dich \nLokale Unterstützung bekommen sie von \nSleeve Retriever  \nIn an age where vulnerability in music is more necessary than ever\, indie-rock band Sleeve Retriever delivers hard-hitting emotional songs that still remain catchy. Doubling as frontman Eric Foster’s recording project\, a DIY approach to music production strikes a balance between authenticity and a full organic sound. On stage Foster is joined by Aaron P. (Drums)\, Emmy F. (Bass) and Lennard S. \n(Guitar)\, who add the dynamic energy any live performing band needs. The current lineup formed in Jena\, after Foster moved to Jena\, having just released Sleeve Retriever’s debut album „my cactus died and I feel nothing“. Since then\, Sleeve Retriever has played multiple shows in Thüringia\, with more shows on the way. \nThe album explores a variety of alternative styles\, with tracks ranging from intimate chamber-folk tunes to grungy ’90s rock homages. Lyrically\, the album is unified by themes of melancholy and longing. His latest releases build on these foundations\, incorporating modern production techniques while drawing inspiration from early shoegaze and slowcore.
